Our Mission
Hopewell House is designed to provide a place for individuals and small groups to step away, meet with the Lord, and be rejuvenated. Based off Mark 6:31, "Come with me by yourselves to a quiet place and get some rest," we recognize that Jesus' words to his disciples are still very prevalent to us today.

Our Roots
Hopewell House was purchased by The Potters Wheel in February 2016, but it has been a dream in the mind of Joe Donaldson for years prior. Joe served as a pastor at Southeast Christian Church in Louisville, KY for 14 years before creating his own ministry, The Potter's Wheel. Ever since creating his own ministry, Joe has dreamed of creating a beautiful, serene place in nature for people to get away and experience God. Through the work of the Lord that dream came to fruition!

Our Team
Hopewell House is truly a family operation on many accounts. Joe and his wife, Pam, dove into this ministry together and have found joy and purpose in working alongside each other, each using their God-given talents to enhance the ministry. While Joe continues to run The Potter's Wheel, Pam handles reservations and care of Hopewell House. This ministry's family goes far beyond just Joe and Pam though. Countless brothers and sisters in Christ have given up their time and efforts to see this ministry succeed.
